Fresh off the Thanksgiving meal, Long Islanders are welcomed to dance the night away at the “Rock for Recovery” rock concert.

The benefit supports Long Island Reach, an company that provides mental health therapy, treatment, chemical dependence and group therapy without issue for one’s capability to pay.

The concert is shining a light on the severe triple risk– the opioid crisis, mental health crisis and fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic.

” Our concept was quite easy …to bring the community together to ‘rock out’ for recovery, on an unique night filled with enjoyable, rock and roll tunes that everybody will understand, all to help Reach’s objective to construct healthy way of lives through substance abuse and mental health therapy,” stated Scott Nigro, Long Island Reach Chairperson, co-creator of the occasion and diva for F.O.G.

The fundraising event is arranged for Tuesday night, Nov. 29 at The Anchor Pub.

A number of regional bands will carry out. Individual tickets are $100, that includes food and beverages.
