Paws for People to host “Doodles in Dewey” starting Friday | The Latest from WDEL News

A non-profit group that provides family pets for therapy check outs is hosting an occasion in Dewey Beach starting Friday, and you and your furbaby may desire to inspect it out.

Clarice Ritchie with Paws for People stated the occasion, called “Doodles in Dewey,” focuses on poodles cross-bred with other types of canines.

” So we have labradoodles and golden doodles and sheep-a-doodles and bern-a doodles, and it’s a big event of those puppies to romp on the beach,” stated Ritchie.

Ritchie stated her group utilizes people from the community and their individual family pets to convenience people in numerous scenarios.

” One-on- one visitation–in hospitals, assisted living home, schools, libraries, drug and alcohol rehab– anywhere where someone would benefit from communicating with a mild, caring family pet,” stated Ritchie.
